<?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?><?xml-stylesheet href="http://www.blogger.com/styles/atom.css" type="text/css"?><feed xmlns='http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom' xmlns:openSearch='http://a9.com/-/spec/opensearchrss/1.0/' xmlns:georss='http://www.georss.org/georss' xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0'><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5876413947011355389</id><updated>2012-02-15T22:51:23.591-08:00</updated><title type='text'>Till Now</title><subtitle type='html'></subtitle><link rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#feed' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://till-now.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/5876413947011355389/posts/default?max-results=100'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://till-now.blogspot.com/'/><link rel='hub' href='http://pubsubhubbub.appspot.com/'/><author><name>Jonathan Aaron</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/03642677110746946860</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='24' height='32' src='http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-FQ9OmvkKv7w/Tb7vbfN6nnI/AAAAAAAAABw/J5mBAfyNIxQ/s220/Profile2.jpg'/></author><generator version='7.00' uri='http://www.blogger.com'>Blogger</generator><openSearch:totalResults>1</openSearch:totalResults><openSearch:startIndex>1</openSearch:startIndex><openSearch:itemsPerPage>100</openSearch:itemsPerPage><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5876413947011355389.post-1176733895015104180</id><published>2011-05-02T16:50:00.000-07:00</published><updated>2011-05-02T16:50:22.724-07:00</updated><title type='text'>The Beginning</title><content type='html'>The last time I did one of these things I was 14. &amp;nbsp;I used livejournal on the recommendation of my then girlfriend. &amp;nbsp;As we were both livejournal buddies, the blog quickly became a way to express - in short paragraphs riddled with grammatical errors, gross&amp;nbsp;misspellings, IM number-for-word short hand, and emoticons - discontent with each other. &amp;nbsp;The posts became the initial attacks on both ends and the comment sections became the battle grounds. &amp;nbsp;We worked hard to acquire allies and&amp;nbsp;viscously attacked each other with the aid of fellow bloggers we had each met and befriended online. &amp;nbsp;Part of me wants to try to find that old blog in order to better revisit the product of the coming together of two individuals who were all too assured of their ability to think clearly despite the evidence to suggest otherwise. &amp;nbsp;The other part of me hopes that blog stays hidden in the bowels of the interweb forever.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In any case, here I am, having been prodded long enough to finally get over my fear of&amp;nbsp;inadvertently&amp;nbsp;re-inhabiting&amp;nbsp;the mental state of a 14 year old narcissist with no verbal filter. &amp;nbsp;I figured this blog would be a good way to help me practice writing daily with the prospect of it being public also serving to provide enough anxiety to force me to really think about what I'm writing. &amp;nbsp;Then there is the&amp;nbsp;chronicling of stories which I've been meaning to do for quite some time. &amp;nbsp;I realize that sounds pompous coming from a 21 year old. &amp;nbsp;As Louise C.K. says in regards to college agers, "You haven't done anything yet!" &amp;nbsp;So for now, we'll just say this is for my own benefit.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;But, of course, in order to start one of these things I was forced to go through the background-check-like profile updating process. &amp;nbsp;Favorite music, favorite books, favorite websites, ways people can contact you, profile picture, other pictures, where have you been for the last 20 years, do you have any known affiliations with terrorist organizations, how much money did you make in the 2010-2011 fiscal year? &amp;nbsp;All I want is a box for text and a button for publishing. &amp;nbsp;Though, I suppose this is the world we live in. &amp;nbsp;I write for a magazine and got the chance to interview up and coming hip-hop artist "Donnis." &amp;nbsp;It was an interesting interview because although he had little to say about the music he was making, he had plenty to say about how, as a musician, acting like a 13 year old, internet addicted, social networking feign essentially led to four different major record labels entering into a Battle Royale over the rights to....well, to be honest, him. &amp;nbsp;"You can't be like no, I'm not going to use twitter. &amp;nbsp;No, you're gonna use twitter!"
